IMPORTANT: RESCHEDULING WORKSHOP.
The Disaster Management for Long Term Care Facilities Workshops for August 24 in Oklahoma City and August 31 needs to be rescheduled to September.
As noted below, the dates for these workshops are intended to follow the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) late-summer training for state-level surveyors. As of today, the surveyor training has not occurred. Because of this, these workshop dates will need to be moved into September so that representatives of the Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma Long Term Care Ombudsman will have complete information on the CMS Final Rule implementation. For those who have registered, if you are not available for your workshop’s new date, you will receive a full refund. We will announce the new dates after confirming the dates of the surveyor training.
