GREEN BUILDING RESOURCE LIBRARY—A WORK IN PROGRESS
This library is a work in progress, and we need input from vendors and consumers alike on what to provide onsite and online.

TULSA PARTNERS GREEN BUILDING RESOURCE LIBRARY
OVERVIEW
Tulsa Partners, Inc., as a part of its Millennium Center project for green and safe living, houses the Green Building Resource Library at its offices, 2327 East 13th Street, and hosts the library’s webpages. Developed in conjunction with Sustainable Tulsa’s Green Building Strategy Team, the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa, and U.S. Green Building Council, the purpose of this library is to provide online and onsite information and product samples on local green and disaster-resistant technologies and services.
The concept for this library came out of a “Greening the (918)” green building planning session held in the Fall of 2008. Participants said they needed a one stop shop to get information on green building and remodeling, particularly the availability of local vendors.
HOST ORGANIZATION
Tulsa Partners, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that uses public, private and nonprofit sector partnerships to build a disaster resistant and sustainable community. The Millennium Center project is a collaborative venture by Tulsa Partners with multiple agencies to help people live safely and in harmony with nature. An eventual goal of this project is to create an interactive exhibit on green and safe living. For more information on this project, go to www.mctulsa.org.
